Where did you grow up? Mostly Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom
WHAT DO YOU CALL:
1 A body of water, smaller than a river, contained within relatively narrow banks? A brook.
2 The thing you push around the grocery store? Trolley.
3 A metal container to carry a meal in? Que?
4 The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in? Frying pan.
5 The piece of furniture that seats three people? Sofa.
6 The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof? Drain pipe.
7 The covered area outside a house where people sit in the evening? Conservatoire.
8 Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages? Fizzy pop.
9 A flat, round breakfast food served with syrup? Pancakes.
10 A long sandwich designed to be a whole meal in itself? Baguette.
11 The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach? Swimming cozzie.
12 Shoes worn for sports? Daps - it's a Wiltshire thing.
13 Putting a room in order? Tidying.
14 A flying insect that glows in the dark? Bug.
15 The little insect that curls up into a ball? Woodlouse.
16 The children's playground equipment where one kid sits on one side and goes up while the other sits on the other side and goes down? See-saw.
17 How do you eat your pizza? Straight out of the box, and usually down the front of a nice clean shirt...!
18 What's it called when private citizens put up signs and sell their used stuff? Boot sale.
19 What's the evening meal? If it's cake and sandwiches, it's Tea; if it's more substantial, Dinner.
20 The thing under a house where the furnace and perhaps a rec room are? Cellar, or if I had one, Playroom.
21 The stretchy thing that one puts around a bunch of envelopes or the newspaper to keep the pieces together? Laggy band.
22 A group of two or three close friends when speaking to them or asking them something? Most likely "Oi you,!".
23 How do you ask someone to accompany you on a trip? There will be chocolate/booze/large hairy men. Delete as appropriate, although I think all three might work on Russ...!

Does she really release stuff with her name spelled in the correct Irish fashion? You know us in the states, we'd pronounce it something like "8th knee" instead of "Enya".
