Koala With Attitude...
Mar. 6th, 2005 05:42 pmLondon on a Saturday morning doesn't put me in the best of moods; add to that half the tube lines being out of order and the population becomes a seething mass of brainless imbeciles. And my unpleasant side comes to the fore with people being pushed past, glared at and being sworn at for the plague of imbeciles that they are. Thank heavens, therefore, for rock_bear and chocolate.
Managed to get to see The Lunatic Queen last night. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Apparently, though, it's had some bad reviews, which I found difficult to believe. Utimately, whilst based on events in fifteenth century Spain, there are parallels with today; namely people being persecuted by the Church in the name of God; in the play, it's Jews and Moors - as for today... draw your own conclusions.
To XXL last night, to be introduced to an Irish bear called Stephen, who I've been talking to on Bear411; much watching of fur, staggered back to hotel in Earls Court about half one-ish. Not sure what time Russ staggered back, but there was a warm, furry presence in my bed by the time I woke up...
Spent this afternoon drinking hot chocolate in a cafe on Old Compton Street, watching the bears go by. And, cue Andy Williams... "The bears watch the bears, who watch the bears who watch the cubs go by...!"
