Ideas... I Need Ideas...

hantsbearTime passes.
I've been doing this Service Desk Manager's job now for about 16 months. Whilst, yes, it has got me out of the Programmer/Analyst role, which appears to be dying a death at our site, with the advent of an off the shelf solution, it's still not ideal. It has its moments; times when I get some pleasure out of what I'm doing and times when I'm sat thinking "What the f*ck am I doing here."
Yes, I agree nothing is perfect, and this is better than being on the dole and living out of a cardboard box underneath Waterloo Bridge but, and this is the absolute crux of the matter...
I have absoultely no idea what I'd rather be doing; what I'd be good at.
Any ideas???
