The Claws of the Koala...

I seem to be asserting myself a little more of late; odd things like making a decision to politely tell a disruptive work colleague currently on long term sick leave to desist from bothering me. Like telling (name deleted) to shut up while I'm trying to concentrate. Are these the claws of the koala?
