Well, it was a fitting end to David Tennant's tenure as the Doctor. Moved to pieces by his cry of "I don't want to die!" just before the regeneration took place. Before the regeneration took place, it was if he was completing a "bucket list". There's only one way to go now but forwards and having seen the 2010 series trailer, I am looking forward to Matt Smith.

Date: 2010-01-02 07:44 pm (UTC)I'm afraid I agree with David Tennant - I didn't want him to go... he was everything I've come to expect from the Doctor - just got a little tired of the constant love theme at times. As for Mr Smith? I didn't like his cameo at all... I just pray I'm in for a good surprise.

Date: 2010-02-09 10:27 pm (UTC)I didn't start to like Tennant until halfway through his first season. It wasn't until I saw " The Girl In The Fireplace" that I really warmed up to him. ( Pun intended)
I, too, am very sorry to see him go. He was one of the best, tied
for first place in my mind with Tom Baker.
I have high hopes for Matt Smith.. he has the unenviable task of
following David Tennant.
Goodbye, David...and best of luck to you, Matt.
