Goodbye Eddie Fatwolf...
Apr. 20th, 2004 08:26 pmBack in January, I met someone who I'd been talking to online in the flesh. Most of the weekend, he was quite unwell, but I think I took it in my stride, trying to be a good host etc. We'd always got on quite well on the phone, and the weekend seemed to go ok.
I have heard nothing since, despite several phone messages and e-mails. So, I have ritually removed him from my website, and address lists and so on, thinking he may well have performed a "Swampy" on me. And try not to wonder why any more.

(New readers - A "Swampy" is where someone I once went to night school with and considered a friend, moved out of the area, and 6 months down the line dismisses our friendship like one swats a fly.)
