Saturday Night In Brixton With Vincent...
Jul. 13th, 2003 12:35 pmThis began with a YIM message session with Russ in the week - he'd managed to get two free tickets to see the National Theatre's production of "Vincent in Brixton" at the Playhouse theatre - a quaint little theatre underneath Charing Cross station. Admittedly, it wasn't the sort of thing I would have thought of going to see, but I enjoyed it. Some of the situations striking a chord with me...
Afterwards, I was persuaded (yeah, right!) to go to XXL, a bear/chunkie club in South London. It was okay I guess, there were only 4 longhairs around including Russ and myself, and the music was typically "buftah... buftah... buftah..." but it was kinda relaxed and furry. I staggered into a taxi around 1am and ended up at my hotel about 2am, because the taxi driver got hideously lost... oh well...
