Re-claiming the kitchen...
Sep. 16th, 2002 06:42 pmHappy happy; joy joy...
I can start moving stuff back into my nice new kitchen. Okay, it's still tiny, but the engineer came round to plumb the gas in, so I can cook, and my first microwave ever makes yummy baked potatoes.
I have been in such a pissy mood these last few weeks, well, nearly a month even, while all around me has been in chaos. I think I snapped yesterday, when John kept harping on about "well, if I find any mugs on the work surface, they'll get smashed" and I promply smashed my coffee mug and snarled something about people having to drink out of styrofoam cups. Ever the drama queen.
Execpt I just got told to lighten up.
Went to see Deep Purple last night at Portsmouth Guildhall - I'd never seen them before, or heard much from them apart from 'Smoke on the Water'. It was pleasant enough, but I managed to talk to this furry guy I'd seen in Gosport many times over the last six years or so. He had long hair and a beard to match. I'm just not quite sure whether he realised he was being chatted up or not. Wish Russ had been there - he'd have probably attempted a positive identification (hehehehehehehehe).
Tired now. Go bye-byes early tonight methinks.
