Here in the UK, we have Churchill the nodding dog. In the US there is the gecko. Japan, meanwhile, has dancing koalas with interestingly concealed cellphones...
I was actually rather surprised to discover that the phrase "give the dog a bone", which is such a dirty euphemism for sex, even transliterated to "give the dog a phone", and spoken in that most proper of British accents, still sounds vaguely filthy.
So you know somewhere, someone has the dirty, dirty fantasy of sticking mobile phones up a dog's butt.
