Okay, I can understand (to a certain degree) why US security authorities want information on where I'm staying, but information on my bank account???  And why are UK/EC security authorities not asking for the same information from the US?

But that's confusing. If he's going to the US and spends any money there, from certain people's point of view, he WOULD be funneling money to terrorists. ;)

Maybe if the deficit gets really bad they'll empty everyone's bank accounts from other countries.
