Yes, snow is very pretty when it's freshly laid and you don't have to travel into work and can run giggling manically as you seek to place the first footprints in a patch of virgin snow.

But when you have to walk to work in it, it is a complete pain in the backside.  Still, at least we don't get it here as frequently as some places...
