Miss Gwen

I have a confession to make.  I'm not normally a dog person.  However that changed in May when I met Miss Gwen.  Such a sweet natured Rottie who was much loved by perkk.

So, this morning when the first thing I read on LJ was that she'd passed on naturally saddened me and my thoughts right now are with John and all those who knew her better than I.

Dazed And Confused...

Had a call from rock_bear earlier this evening. He had some blood tests this morning and had just had a phone call telling him to get to hospital now as he was under a very high risk of a heart attack as a result of high potassium levels. It was my turn to attempt Fierce Eyebrows attempting to calm him down as he was a little frightened as well as perplexed. And to tell him that hospital will be the best place to be.

So now we wait. If I hear anything, I'll let you all know.

Russ - Update #1

Have just had a call from madamemish - Russ has been admitted to hospital; all seems well apart from raised potassium. They are going to perform some tests and put him on a drip; he should be only in a couple of nights.

rock_bear would like it to be known that "rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated" and that he is quite defnitely not currently lying on a sofa with a camelia between his teeth...

...whatever that means!!!
