Scenario : A member of staff is leaving a unique job that requires skills found in another team within the building. Do you replace them with:-
A) A member of the other team who has years of experience; is looking for a move, and would love to do the job - would require minimal training to get into the job.
B) A new member of staff proficient in the language, but totally unfamiliar with the system, and will need a lot of spoon feeding.
Guess what the solution was, and the clue is, it wasn't A.
And I'm sure I heard purring coming from Human Resources...
