While not strictly a board game, my friend Sam and I sometimes play lots of Connect Four at Moogy's, a local greasy spoon not far from me. We play for a while, then once warmed up, we do a number of rounds of "sudden death" connect four, where we have to drop our playing pieces as fast as possible with as little forethought as possible.

Fun times.
