Management Training...

This is one thing I can't get over since being in my current job.  I am now a manager.  Hmmm... still not used to that concept.  Or the fact that I have not gone pointy-haired yet.  The plus side is management courses (day out of the office and free food); the down side is staff.  Being as I have an innate desire to keep everybody happy (the great impossibility), I am frequently disappointed.  Story of my life, really...

Oh well, I am currently on the prowl for a new member of staff.  Somehow my suggestion of either albadger  or utahmtnbear didn't go down too well.  Rats.  So much for the harem idea then...

Why am I not surprised that they didn't cotton to middle-aged Yanks? But thanks for trying, though. *hugs*
