Doc confirmed it is an infection and prescribed antibiotic tablets and drops. So, now all I have to do is do what I do best on these occasions.

Lie on the sofa (with plenty of chocolate of course) and feel sorry for myself...!

I'm fighting the same battle. Doc gave me drops, too. Is your infection is just one ear? I was wondering how you put drops in both ears without them dripping out the opposite side...
Corks don't seem to do the job.

Just the one ear at the moment, Beast, although the other one is starting to tickle a little. Main problem is I need to be in reasonable health for Thursday, and a pond crossing to Oregon...
