The End. But The Moment Has Been Prepared For...

Well, it was a fitting end to David Tennant's tenure as the Doctor.  Moved to pieces by his cry of "I don't want to die!" just before the regeneration took place.  Before the regeneration took place, it was if he was completing a "bucket list".  There's only one way to go now but forwards and having seen the 2010 series trailer, I am looking forward to Matt Smith.

Hated this a bit less than other finales, poss because Russell seems to have decided that it's better to have no plot at all, than a derisory one to excuse all the character stuff - and I agree. If you're not going to bother anyway, then don't even try to tell a story. Just give us the emotional beats in the right sequence blah de blah blah.

The theme of regeneration as "little death" was nice; that last line was a bridge too far, though.
